The Bieler Lang IR220 SF6 Gas Detector provides reliable, selective detection of sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) at ppm levels using proven NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) technology. Available in various measurement ranges, the detector offers high accuracy, excellent repeatability and low sensitivity to temperature and humidity.
Its long-life sensor and high resistance to chemical contamination make it suitable for continuous monitoring in gas-insulated switchrooms. The IR220 provides a linear 4–20 mA output, pre-alarm, main alarm and sensor fault outputs, and can be integrated with ventilation, warning and other protective systems to help detect SF₆ leaks, protect personnel and minimise equipment downtime.
