University of Tasmania - Northern Transformation Project

The relocation of the University of Tasmania’s Newnham campus to Inveresk represents the largest infrastructure project in Launceston’s history. This ambitious endeavour promises transformative change for the region and offers an inter-generational opportunity to redefine the future of Launceston.

The Inveresk campus will feature state-of-the-art workspaces, cutting-edge study facilities, and vibrant community spaces. Alongside contemporary course offerings and world-class research facilities, this campus aims to attract both national and international students. Furthermore, it seeks to inspire more young Tasmanians to pursue tertiary education, providing them with a pathway to a fulfilling career.

Noventis designed and commissioned a gas detection to protect against the risk associated with the dangers of Oxygen depletion, asphyxiation and toxic gas concentration. The system comprises out of oxygen, carbon dioxide, flammable and nitrous oxide gas detectors of which some are hazardous rated. This project is still under construction and is scheduled to be completed by end of 2024.
